April 22nd – HAPPY EARTH DAY

April 22nd 2015, is the 45th Anniversary of Earth Day, marking 45 years at the forefront of the environmental movements.

At Scuba Seekers, environmental education is always part of our life. We never miss the opportunity to show our support and environmental awareness through good diving practice, dive briefings and a positive roll model. To build a better future for our oceans, we all must commit to protect our environment and dive according to that all year-round.

Beach Clean Ups

On the other hand, we do not want to miss the opportunity to join the Earth Day celebrations.

Earth Day is the day to do something nice for the Earth, demonstrate support, have fun and make a difference. Once more, we want to show the support of the diving community for the environmental protection. For this reason we have created a special challenge for all our divers.

As all of us know, one of the biggest problems we are facing around the world, and especially here in Dahab, is marine debris. You can help us fight against that by giving just a little bit of your time.

We only ask for 15 minutes after each dive to help us to protect the Red Sea that we love so much.

After each dive, we will have garbage bags and gloves ready for everybody. Why not dedicate the time it takes you to dry off, cleaning the beach of the dive site?

Let’s Come Together to Make A Difference!
