DESCRIPTION:The CCR Tech 2 course is designed to enhance deep rebreather diving proficiency while using hypoxic helium diluent and bailout gases and oxygen-enriched decompression gases. The training program follows the same topics of the GUE Tech Diver 2 course while adding rebreather specific skills such as: \n\nadvanced dive planning\nuse of multiple bailout stages\nuse of hypoxic gas mixtures and its protocols\nuse of Trimix with greater percentages of helium\ngas management\noxygen management\nextended decompression\naccelerated\, omitted\, and general decompression strategies\ndiagnose and respond to simulated rebreather problems\n\n\n\n\n\nThis course is often referred to as the Everest of GUE courses. DESCRIPTION:More than just a nudibranch hunt\, the Sea Slug Census is a collaborative effort to document and map nudibranch diversity in Dahab and the surrounding area. Together\, we’re building a regional nudi-database of which species live here\, where\, and when. \nParticipants will either help spot or take photos of sea slugs during dives and upload their findings to the public platform iNaturalist. Observations are identified and verified by the community – and occasionally lead to surprising discoveries. \nApril brings ideal conditions thanks to cooler water and seasonal algae blooms that often attract huge numbers of nudibranchs. Whether you’re behind a camera or just love finding tiny critters\, your contribution during this time matters. \nWho Can Join?\n\n\nminimum of Advanced Open Water certified\nunderwater photographers (from action cams to macro pros)\nexperienced spotters  – or those who want to become one!\nanyone passionate about marine life\, even without a camera\n\n\nThe Sea Slug Census will take place over 8 Diving Days and includes 2 x Day Dives + 1 Night Dive each day and is hosted by Andrey Ryanskiy and Irina Khlopunova – authors / photographers of Reef ID Books. \nParticipants are encouraged to join all 8 days.
