SSI XR Foundations (Intro to Tec)
The SSI XR Foundations program is the first step to mastering advanced diving techniques used in Technical diving. This dynamic program runs more like a tailored workshop than a rigid course, adapting to the needs of each student as it prepares them for the next level and prepares the diver for further Tec courses.
You’ll refine your buoyancy, trim, finning techniques, positioning, and underwater communication—all essential skills for the kind of confident and controlled abilities required of Technical divers.
Whether you’re brushing up on existing skills, seeking to add extra confidence to your diving, or plan to join further Tech programs, this curriculum will benefit any diver and can be conducted on either a single tank, double tank, or sidemount configuration.
