When we built Scuba Seekers, we started with a simple belief: exceptional diving deserves exceptional platforms. A place where training, exploration, and community can grow without limits. In 2021 we expanded our diving operations to the south in Hurghada with the purchase of our first Red Sea safari boat, MV Legends, and began offering 7-day liveaboards to cover the region’s most iconic wrecks and reefs – from Brothers to Safaga, Ras Mohammed to Tiran, and beyond.

After many successful seasons, we continued refining our operation and, in 2023, upgraded to our current vessel, MV Legends II.

And today, we are excited to share yet another new milestone that pushes our horizons even further.

Scuba Seekers has officially acquired Marselia Star, a 40-meter steel liveaboard vessel built for ambitious diving and long-range expeditions across the Red Sea.

For years, Marselia Star has been a reliable favorite among divers. Known for her stability and generous interior and exterior volume; she’s ready to start a new chapter with us under the Legends umbrella. We look forward to continuing our commitment to delivering the best-in-class experiences for recreational, technical, and CCR divers alike.

Inside the Marselia Star

Built in 2015, the vessel offers:

  • 12 en-suite cabins with AC (for up to 24 guests)
  • A large dive deck designed for comfort and efficiency
  • Multiple lounges and sun decks for briefings, workshops, and downtime
  • A Zodiac for streamlined dive operations
  • Bright, modern indoor dining and salon spaces

Engineered for range and stability, she brings a balance of comfort, safety, and capability that fits seamlessly into the Scuba Seekers / Legends ethos.

*new photoshoot is planned for early 2026 after some cosmetic work so stay tuned!

Purpose-Built for the Every Red Sea Journey

At 40 meters in length and an 8.5-meter beam, Marselia Star delivers the power and reach needed for Egypt’s signature southern routes. With this new addition, every deep-south itinerary is now within easy access for our divers, including:

  • Brothers
  • Daedalus
  • Elphinstone
  • Fury Shoals
  • St. Johns
  • Rocky Island
  • Zabargad
  • …and more.

Her steel hull, generous cabins (all of which are located on the main or upper decks and boast seaviews), spacious dive deck, and multiple sun decks make her ideal for extended crossings, multi-team technical operations, and relaxed recreational safaris.

Unveiling Our New Itinerary Options for 2026-27

Complementing our core Northern Red Sea programs, we’re opening 2026 with three additional route options that demonstrate the full potential of Marselia Star. These new itineraries include:

1. Brothers – Daedalus – Elphinstone (BDE)

A marine-park expedition through shark country, pristine walls, and some of the Red Sea’s most dramatic divescapes.

2. St. Johns & Fury Shoals

A warm-water, southern-reef circuit filled with caverns, coral gardens, and relaxed drift dives.

3. Rocky Island & Zabargad

Remote, untouched, and atmospheric – a trip for divers who want something rare, wild, and unforgettable.
