PADI IDC
Instructor Development Course
PADI’s Instructor Development Course (IDC) is a two-part programme, that equips you with the knowledge and skills you need to teach new and continuing education divers. During your IDC, you will learn more about the business of diving, get better at speaking in front of others, and polish your in-water skill demonstrations. You will also have a lot of fun team working with your fellow instructor candidates.
Joining Scuba Seekers’ PADI IDC will ensure all of this and much more. Our course director Amr Zakaria has been training PADI Instructors since 2016. Before that, he worked as a PADI Instructor for more than a decade. While he still teaches entry-level courses, he is now focused on training professional divers like you. Amr prides himself on his flexibility and availability, he aims to turn each of his candidates into the best possible PADI Instructor he or she can be.
During the IDC, you will practice briefing dive skills on land and teaching those skills underwater. You will also hear presentations about key topics in the dive industry, brush up on your PADI standards, and learn to start thinking like a dive instructor.
As soon as you sign up, your course can start with pre-IDC online preparation, Dive theory online revision, orientation on how to use the PADI Instructor Manual and anything you may need to get the most out of an amazing course.
At Scuba Seekers, we think the burden of care is on each of us to act in ways that positively impact the earth. As divers, we are in a unique position to raise awareness about ocean pollution and help prevent it in the first place. Amr’s IDC aims for minimal environmental impact during training and we will share with you our passion for conservation.
INSTRUCTOR EXAMINATION IN DAHAB

PADI is running Instructor Examinations (IEs) in Dahab several times throughout the year. We know the IE can be a bit stressful, but no worries, we will be with you throughout the entire process to give you all our support and cheer you on!
