The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba diving course. It has introduced millions of people around the world to the wondrous world that lies beneath the waves.
The course teaches you the fundamentals of scuba diving in a safe and controlled environment. It is broken down into knowledge development along with the DVD, confined water sessions for learning skills and open water dives. And it is a performance based course which enables flexible learning.
At Scuba Seekers we believe in teaching our students the good fundamental skills of diving to enable our students to have more control in the water which enhances both their comfort and their enjoyment. We teach all our Open Water Courses with each student having their own dive computer to use for the duration of the course. The outcome is confident students who really understand the limits of diving in a safe controlled manner.
All our dive training will take place in the sea in one of Dahab’s shallow and sheltered dive sites (Lighthouse, Bannerfish Bay, South Oasis…) so you will have a fantastic experience right from the start.
Once certified, as a PADI Open Water diver you are able to dive anywhere in the world and explore new places.
PADI Junior Open Water Diver
The PADI Open Water course is available for 10 year old and upwards so it’s a great opportunity to get all the family involved in the fun!
The younger divers will be certified as Junior Open Water Diver with a limitation in their maximum depth (12m). On their 15th birthday, their certification will automatically upgrade to the same standards as the adult one.
