GUE CCR TECHNICAL DIVER 2
CCR TECHNICAL DIVER 2
The CCR Tech 2 course is designed to enhance deep rebreather diving proficiency while using hypoxic helium diluent and bailout gases and oxygen-enriched decompression gases. The training program follows the same topics of the GUE Tech Diver 2 course while adding rebreather specific skills such as:
- advanced dive planning
- use of multiple bailout stages
- use of hypoxic gas mixtures and its protocols
- use of Trimix with greater percentages of helium
- gas management
- oxygen management
- extended decompression
- accelerated, omitted, and general decompression strategies
- diagnose and respond to simulated rebreather problems
This course is often referred to as the Everest of GUE courses. A GUE CCR Tech 2 diver has it all: a robust set of abilities, a superior level of communication and teamwork skills as well as the right tools for uncharted deep diving exploration.
Duration: 6 days, 7 dives
Maximum Depth: 75m+
Class Size: max. 3 students
Applicants for the GUE CCR Tech 2 must:
- hold a GUE CCR Tech Diver 1 certification
- have conducted at least 50 non-training CCR-T1 dives following completion of GUE CCR-T1 cert. At least 25 of these must have been at a depth of at least 130 ft/40 m
- own a GUE-approved closed-circuit rebreather
- if using a drysuit during the course, have conducted at least 25 non-training dives in a drysuit or have conducted 15 non-training dives utilizing a drysuit following completion of GUE Drysuit Primer certification.
