Divemaster
PADI Divemaster
The PADI Divemaster course is the first step into the world of professional scuba diving.
The program aims to give you the skills you need to work in recreational scuba diving in Dahab and all over the world. Working alongside an experienced PADI instructor, you’ll be taught how to assist on dive courses, how to supervise dive activities, how to lead diving groups and how to work safely with student divers.
Although you will undoubtedly hone your own diving skills during the process, this is not the primary aim of this course – you should already be a competent and exceptional diver to become a PADI Divemaster.
This program teaches you to manage diving and introduces you to the basic skills you’ll require to work in recreational scuba diving environments. It’s also an excellent way to learn about how PADI courses are taught and to prepare you for becoming and instructor – the PADI Divemaster course is the prerequisite certification for the PADI Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor qualifications.
DIVEMASTER & EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE COURSES
One of the prerequisites of the Divemaster course, is a current First Aid and CPR certification.
If you don’t have this training, don’t worry. At Scuba Seekers we can run Emergency First Response courses which includes CPR and first aid, in conjunction with your Divemaster training.
SPECIALTY COURSES
There is a huge variety of speciality fields within scuba diving, with many having their own speciality course.
As a professional scuba diver you should be prepared to be able to guide deep divers down to 40m, know how to plan a nitrox dive or be able to make a proper buddy check to a diver with sidemount configuration.
