Across the board, 2020 was a challenging year for the travel and tourism industry and Scuba Seekers was not left unaffected. Yet despite these unprecedented times, we experienced our fair share of ups amongst the downs. We found opportunities to improve our facilities and offer more amenities; managed to retain our staff throughout the worst of times; took advantage of any downtime to advance our team’s personal diving goals; and unexpectedly ended the year on a high note by being named one of the Top 10 Dive Centers in the World by Dive Magazine.
Over 1000 different dive centers across 108 destinations were nominated. Scuba Seekers is honored to have been voted onto this esteemed list, especially during such a difficult period for the dive industry. We are proud to represent our home country of Egypt, a place that has time and again seen its tourist industry battle numerous setbacks throughout the years. The Red Sea is home to one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet and hosts some of the best dive sites in the world. There’s nothing we love more than introducing our divers to the nuances of this stunning stretch of coastline.
Since our inception in 2006, our core business model has centered on a passion for diving. This passionate spirit is evident in our talented team of employees and instructors who hold the same vision – to share their enthusiasm for the underwater world and promote a culture of quality diving education whether recreational, technical, or in conservation. This love for diving has helped us cultivate an incredible community of like-minded divers who have become an extension of the Scuba Seekers family.
That’s why this award means so much to us – because we were voted on by you, the people. We wouldn’t be where we are without our amazing clients who, from the very beginning, placed their trust in us and in our dive training methods. Thank you for your continued support.
