Primers
GUE PRIMERS
Primers are a variety of auxiliary training, very much like workshops. The primers cover a huge variety of educations and topics… from simple ones such as the use of drysuit or doubles… to complex scientific skills like for example photogrammetry.
Primers are short 1 or 2 day educational programmes without evaluation. They are designed to help a diver learn and develop a solid foundation in a specific field. Primers are an optional aid to accelerate diver’s skill development.
Doubles Primers
Do you want to learn to dive with doubles? Whether it is to extend the dive time, prepare for technical training or even increase gas redundancy while diving… GUE Doubles Primer will introduce you to the basics of diving with doubles .
During the primer, you will learn different equipment configurations with doubles, how they work and how to respond to associated failures.

Navigation Primers
Don’t get lost! With GUE Navigation Primer you will learn how to use a compass, use a spool as a guideline and natural navigation techniques.
During this workshop, you will practice the procedures for reduced visibility and night diving while implementing GUE’s distinctive philosophy of teamwork and situational awareness.

Rescue Primer
The underwater environment comes with its challenges and uncertainties. If you are diving on a regular base, it is essential that you know how to prevent or handle stressful situations.
GUE Rescue Primer is designed to prepare divers to manage the risk associated with diving activities: from self-rescue, to dealing with a team mate in distress and other emergencies underwater.

Triox Primer
Diving in more challenging conditions than normal (cold water, with low visibility, greater depth, executing strenuous tasks …) increases the effects and risks of gas density such as gas narcosis.
Demanding dives call for a clear mind of the team members. That is why divers should consider the use of a helium-based gas such as Triox 30/30 in such conditions. GUE Triox Primer will tech you the use of Triox 30/30 as a GUE standard gas.

Gas Blender
Have you ever wondered how your cylinders are filled? Maybe you work in a dive centre or you just want to know all that happen “behind the scenes” in the filling station.
The GUE Gas Blender Primer will teach you everything necessary to prepare, blend and fill your own cylinders with the gas mix of your choice.

Documentation Diver
GUE firmly believes that exploring, observing, and documenting the underwater environment is critical in order to protect it from threats.
GUE Documentation Diver will introduce divers to the essential tools necessary to participate in documentation projects. From logistics and organization, to data collection and the use of photography & video as research aids.
