TDI Technical Sidemount
TDI Technical Sidemount
The Technical Sidemount course is suitable for any technical diver who wants to dive with a sidemount configuration.
Sidemount diving can be more comfortable for people with back injuries, although this type of configuration was initially developed by cave divers and is known for its versatility.
Among the subjects covered in the course are equipment configuration and requirements, gas management, trim and buoyancy techniques and the use of multiple stage cylinders.
It’s recommended that you also have a Enriched Air – Nitrox Diver certification.
TDI Technical Sidemount in conjunction with other courses
It can be taught as a standalone course or in conjunction with another Technical qualification.
