Technical Diver 1
GUE Technical Diver 1
The GUE Technical Diver 1 (Tech 1) is your first step into the challenging world of Technical Diving. Initially, it’s all about getting to know tech equipment and improving foundational diving skills —those that you learned in the GUE Fundamentals course- to suit the level of rigorous diving you are heading into.
As you progress and become a more diligent diver, you also become more aware of the risks increasing, when diving deeper and longer. What sets apart the technical diving training, is the approach to diving itself. Tech 1 will teach you the proper mindset to manage risk, focusing on dive planning, teamwork, communication and situational awareness.

- Safely use 50% Nitrox or oxygen for accelerated decompression.
